In April William Kelly will be having presentations which involve the large limited edition prints “Dialogue With ‘Guernica’”.

2) at Shrine of Remembrance

April 4 to 24 May 2009. Bill Kelly will be giving a PUBLIC TALK at the Shrine on Monday 6 April.
this exhibition is titled -
“Monument to Peace. A Dialogue with Guernica and the Spanish Civil War” This will be a small exhibition in the “Hall of Columns” which is to include the two large prints “Dialogue with ‘Guernica’”, a couple of Bill Kelly sketches, a video of the Gernika installation “Plaza of Fire and Light” and other documentation.

an installation in April of the murales colgantes “Dialogue with ‘Guernica’” to coincide with the commemoration of the bombing.
New global web portal launched for Basque Clubs around the world.
The Basque Government recently made available www.euskaletxeak.net. The web portal has been designed to allow Euskal Etxeak (or Basque Clubs) around to take ownership and control information publication.
Bill Kelly visits the Gure Txoko
On Sunday the 17th August we had the pleasure of hosting William Kelly and his wife Veronica.
Bill Kelly is an America/Australian humanist artist, who has some close ties to the Basque Country and Gernika, through his work with the Euskal Herria Museoa (Museum of the Basque Country).

Gora San Fermin
The Gure Txoko celebrated San Fermin on Sunday the 6th July, with one of the biggest turn outs. We had more than 80 people that filled the room downstairs, upstairs and the fronton.
The kitchen team prepared soup, Ajoarriero (cod, capsicum and tomato) and veal with a mushroom sauce. Eskerrik asko Miren, Pilar eta Carlos.
